Mayor Russell Crawmer:
Leading McGregor with Experience, Vision, and Heart
As McGregor enters another election season, voters are asked to consider not just promises, but proven leadership. Mayor Russell Crawmer, seeking a second term, has demonstrated his dedication to both family and community through decades of service, and his accomplishments in office make a compelling case for re-election.

Rooted in Family and Service
Next year, Russell and his wife will celebrate 30 years of marriage. Together they have raised five children, ages 15 to 28, and now enjoy two grandchildren with another on the way. His values of hard work, responsibility, and family life inform the way he governs.
For 25 years, Russell has served as a school administrator, working closely with families and state officials. His leadership was recognized at the state level when he was appointed to four terms on the Commission on Childcare and the Early Learning Council, where he helped shape preschool policies that gave children a stronger start in education.
A Record of Accomplishments
Since taking office, Mayor Crawmer has invested more than 30 hours a week in city projects, working side by side with residents and council members to move McGregor forward. Achievements include:

Always Available for McGregor
One of Mayor Crawmer’s greatest strengths is his availability. Unlike other candidates who work full-time outside of city responsibilities, Crawmer is present and accessible during the day to meet with residents, respond quickly to city needs, and work alongside staff. He has launched Coffee with the Mayor sessions to ensure face-to-face communication, and his schedule allows him to be flexible and responsive when McGregor needs him most.
