About RUSS

City Council- it’s what you vote for!

It has been my privilege to facilitate transparency of our city council. Fostering relations with council members to empower them to make decisions based upon information available in the packets in advance for their decision making process. Council members make their decisions based upon needs of their constituents in McGregor listening to their concerns and taking action to better our community.

About Me

What Drives Me?

Having adult children, children at home and grand children I am particularly family focused. My background and experience is working with children and families on both the state and local levels. Serving on state committees, boards and other non-profits, in addition to being the Mayor of McGregor, I have experience that counts.

I feel a duty to keep others motivated to pick up the “slack” come along side, counsel others to work together and collaborate- diffusing frustrations for the betterment of McGregor. It takes a village to make our town amazing. I enjoy building connections and getting the community involved, it makes our city the place to be and the place to visit.
